Burts test run scene review

In Burts test run at Bonneville, The Director uses a variety of components to make this scene stand out and show its importance. Some things to focus on in this scene are the Camera angles and the sound techniques used throughout the scene. Within the scene, a large variety of camera angles were used to add suspense and depth throughout it. Some examples of these were the uses of the close ups that showed a sense of speed and danger when they were on Burt as he was riding. Some others were shots from the following cars that were monitoring Burt. These shots gave the viewers a sense that they were in the car with the officials and Burts supporters. The sound techniques used throughout the scene were also used effectively to match the pace and emotion of the scene. When Burt was preparing for his test run, a slow, suspensive song was played in the background to add depth and suspense to make the scene more enjoyable and important. In my opinion, the sound and camera angle techniques really added to this scenes suspense and emotion.
