In the film “The Worlds Fastest Indian”, Anthony Hopkins did an excellent job of showing the love for speed and engines as he played the character of Burt Munro. In the film, Anthony Hopkins played the character very well as he was able to show realistic emotions over the whole film as if he was actually Burt Munro. His believable accent also helped wrap up the whole act and could even be believed as a New Zealander. Other than his accent, his raw talent at impersonating someone also stood out fantastically. His ability to literally pretend to be someone else throughout a whole story is quite remarkable. His usage is these skills brought the whole film together, making Anthony Hopkins a very believable Burt Munro. Although there are perfect examples throughout the whole film, some impressive examples of Anthony performing at his best was when he was spreading his New Zealand ingenuity to others in the States. In my opinion, Burt did a excellent job at playing the roll of Burt Munro. His ability to present the classic New Zealander friendliness and generosity is magnificent and I believe no other actor would be able to capture it like Anthony did.
